The Rashkis Elementary School in Meadowmont was completed in 2003 with a construction budget of $11,000,000. The 22-acre site, and the desire for the sustainable development influenced many aspects of the architectural design and construction process. Moderate to steep slopes around the site, a perennial stream that bisects the site and an adjacent wetland all contributed to limiting the buildable area and construction site. Dr. Neil G.
